Il tema di questa settimana su Illustration Friday è Ripple: suggerito al blog da Kelly Light; un' illustratrice (bravissima) che ha organizzato una raccolta fondi per aiutare i diretti danneggiati dal disastro ecologico in corso nel Golfo del Messico.
Personalmente ritengo che un disastro di tale portata non riguardi solo una ristretta area geografica, ma che innescherà, senza dubbi, una catena distruttiva che finirà col colpire l'intero pianeta. Ma tent'è che ad oggi l'emergenza è forte e investe habitat e persone, per cui eccomi partecipare con molto sentimento all' iniziativa, con questa illustrazione che spero non necessiti spiegazioni.
This week theme, on Illustration Friday is Ripple, as suggested by Kelly Light, an American illustrator who organized a fundraiser to help those directly affected by the ongoing ecological disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.
I personally think that a disaster of this magnitude does not concern only a limited geographical area, but that will trigger, without doubt, a destructive chain that will eventually affect the entire planet.
Though now the emergency is strong and affects peaplo and habitats, for wich I'm partecipating at this initiative with much feeling with this illustration that, I hope, does not need explanation.
